EDGE OF OBLIVION
At the edge of oblivion is a moment of contemplation. You have time to reflect on the depths of your situation. It is a moment of choice before you plummet into the abyss. You can forget everything you love and all the things you will miss. You can pull down all your curtains to block the light of the blessed Sun. In the darkness, you can tie on your taut noose, or load your faithful gun. However, just before your tribulations look to take their final toll; You will have a fleeting moment to reflect on your wonderous soul. Take that time to remember those who love you for who you are. Reflect on the joys of your life before you received your internal scars. Use that graceful moment to stare love and sanity in the face. Focus on all your positives before you make one last mistake. Fan those small sparks of joy to rekindle faith's inner fire. Heat up your inner hopes so they can ignite your lost desire. On the edge of oblivion is where we all make our final stand.
