THE EBB AND FLOW OF AMERICA

There is a painful cycle in America.

It seizes and releases like the primordial tide.

It is a congenital volition that dominates the xenophobic mind.

It is unfortunate that all the offspring of slavery feel its pull all the time.

Aberration clashes and reverberates as we see its historical truths.

Racists and demagogues revel in its application and vile abuse.

It flowed in 1877 when reconstruction was proclaimed to be done.

Whites rewrote the laws and subjugated free slaves under their guns.

Fear of losing their America prompted whites to accept a serpents mind.

The KKK ran the country, and minorities fell under the boots of white pride.

Whites said men like William Joseph Simmons, "speaks the words I want to hear!"

They took his hateful dialogue and recreated the KKK we know and fear.

The flow of their tidal madness forced minorities to live under an oppressive regime.

It wasn't until 1955 that there was ebb in the racial tidal stream.

The Civil Right Movement was the black man's primal scream.

Laws were rewritten, and hard fought victories of inclusion were won.

The tide was in full regression when the Civil Right Bill was signed and done.

Blacks thought they finally made a difference, but the flow of madness had already begun.

The racial tide of hatred was again set free on the children of the slaves.

The war on drugs in 80's locked up fathers and created millions of graves.

The pull and yank of madness are always a part of our American lives.

It is the serpent mentality of delusional bigots, and we must find a way to fight and survive.

The emergence of Trump is not unique or unconventional in any way.

It is just the reemergence of the tide that painfully directs America every day.

His words invigorate the bigoted, like many of his predecessors before.

He says the things that men like George Nelson Rockwell and David Duke adore.

I beseech you not to give into the hatred generated by the racist and insecure.

Just remember that their madness and hatred will not always endure.

The flow of xenophobia is now gushing, but this will not always be the case.

The tide will again ebb once America satisfies its current lust for the sanctity of the white race.
